Guitariste et chanteur hors-norme à tendance radiclament "originale", il à cotoyé les étranges et avant-gardistes Golden Palominos, puis s'est fait le compagnon de Peter Scherer pour commettre ensemble l'extraordinaire " Pretty Ugly " dans la série des " Made to measure ": un véritable disque d'antologie, chef d'oeuvre de la musique pour danse (Art Zoyd, Fred Frith, etc...) !! Puis orienté aussi dans le jazz et l'avant-jazz (Bill Frisell, John Zorn), il finit par se spécialiser dans la musique brésilienne: surprenant certes mais superbe !
