Elliot Sharp dirige les groupes " Carbon et Orchestra carbon ", " Tectonics ", " Bootstrappers ", " Terraplane " et produit des albums solos, tous plus frappés les uns que les autres ! Dans le monde du surnaturel sonore, il est un maître.

Vu en concert à Lille le 17 octobre 1997: une expérience inoubliable ! Pas une note n'est jouée de manière conventionelle, ni même avec un " son " reconnaissable, bien que le morceau ne dure pas moins d'une heure et quart...A la fois structurée en plusieurs parties distinctes et improvisée note par note, cette musique ouvre des possibilités infinies de composition sonore, jouant le rôle de  " détonateur d'idées " et franchissant pour nous le mur dense des structures traditionnelles de la musique.
